It's perfect for the 2 cups of rice we typically make, cooks it perfectly, and is simple with just an on and off switch.
The three star rating is simply for the condition of the rice maker and the broken piece rolling around and does not reflect its use.
It has a non stick surface easy for clean up.

Update i tried to use the rice maker for the first time to make a batch of puerto rican rice and it came out perfect
