Pros

We get probably 10 slices/loaf which is great as it just starts to go stale at the last piece.

Easy to use. No problem to use without it and certainly not worth worrying about. Setup is easy.

House smells heavenly. Crust is crispy and delicious. Inside is fluffy and not heavy at all.

This thing makes homemade bread easy enough and well enough that i cannot see myself buying store-bread ever again. Since this is my third bread maker i had certain a well-mixed loaf, nicely shaped and a tasty recipe. This little bread maker is excell...  Read More

The pan is solid and cleaning is just a wipe down. It cleans easily. The paddle has a hole through it that can get encrusted with cooked bread and be a bit trickier to clean.

Cons

The lid broke, the heat now leaks through the lid when it bakes, and no longer makes bread like it should. Delay timer isn't available for many of the cycles, including the dough cycle.

They all broke after not many years).

Price

With the high cost of bread these days, i plan on making my own bread from now on.

My calculations in canada show the cost/loaf is 66 cents vs.

About $4 for store-bought bread, based on a 5kg bag of flour (cost would be even less if i bought a larger bag).

It is expensive up front, but it'll still pay for itself within a year given how much a loaf of bread at the store costs relati...  Read More

Competitiveness

Have a zo coffeemaker which makes superb coffee, and their bread maker is just as good.

I have had other makes such as cuisinart, oster and breadman but a zo is my favourite.

I've seen a couple of its competitors, and you can tell quality.

In the land of breadmakers, no brand does it better.
