Pros

There is no timer and the unit keeps the water hot all day and night. It takes a while to do a first boil if you have the whole five liters in it.

This appliance stands out as my favorite item on the countertop. It’s easy to use, fits nicely on my desk, and matches my rice cooker.

Cons

After cleaning, there's a spot where the coating seems falling off. The inside of the unit is plastic not stainless steel.

It's on the shipment of the unit. You have to ship it to them by your own expense, diagnostic testing is $45 and then parts expense plus return shipping. Amazon sells cheaper units.

For the most expensive water boiler on the market - unacceptably poor quality. It is disappointing because panasonic and zojirushi have been known for their good quality. Doesn’t scream that japanese quality.

Once you use a zojirushi product, you won't want to use other brands.
