Cons

The inner tank is definitely not stainless steel. After cleaning, there's a spot where the coating seems falling off. In less than 1 year, rust spots are clearly visible at the bottom.

Extremely quiet when heating the water, much better than other brands.

Once you use a zojirushi product, you won't want to use other brands.

We bought this zojirushi water pot to replace a very similar zojirushi water pot we had for over 15 years.

Would be much better if the default mode is quick temp for the us market.
