Pros
Even though he was leery of getting another gadget and taking up more space this has become one of the most used items in the kitchen. It works great so far after a week, and fits in perfectly with my rice cooker!
Cons
Something is loose in the lid, if i turn the boiler i can hear something rattles inside the lid. Do not recommend.

Price
Wish was bit cheaper but i love it so that i do not constantly make tea even in summer !
For the cost i replace it after a yr as i used it daily 24/7.
It is little expensive because it confuses customer with its japanese name.
Packaging/appearance
The pretty floral design is wasted on the sides of container because it can,t be seen unless standing totally alone on counter☹️.
I just use the keurig citric acid from walmart, but i’m pretty sure a packet of unsweetened lemonade would do the same thing.

Other brands i have had lasted several years - so hopefully this one will too.

The mineral deposits at the bottle of the canister also avery hard to clear out

The internal mechanism that pumps the water out is prone to failure after a few years and even though its easy to remove and reinstall there are no replacement parts available
