Pros & Cons
Pros
We have this plugged in almost all the time. It attaches magnetically. Only thing i don't like is that this is a push to dispense rather than a twisting knob or electronically triggered button.
I'm the only coffee drinker at home, so the smaller size is just fine for me. It's not harmful, it's just calcium and other minerals from your tap water. Add some more water to it to flush out the vinegar taste.
Highlights
Quality
Awesome water boiler better than the electric pump ones
Nice touch to have the magnetic cord so you can easily detach the unit for washing and filling.
You have to press it quite a few times down to get enough water to fill a mug up, each press dispenses maybe only 1/5 or 1/6 of a cup.
The manufacturer warns of a plastic taste that goes away.
Price
2l a tad small though, but that's just me again, for the price i paid, i think it was great value.
No big deal though, to be expected.
Packaging/appearance
The only thing i don't like is that the package came opened, and the lid tends to slip out of the socket very easy.
Competitiveness
Again, not terribly deal breaking, but a minor inconvenience compared to some of the japanese water boilers i've used in the past.
