Pros & Cons
Pros
The zojirushi ea-dcc10 gourmet sizzler electric griddle is so close to being the perfect electric griddle, but it is definitely worth the investment. It's not a deep skillet, but is has some of the properties of a skillet and some of a griddle. It hea... Read More
The price on this item fluctuates a bit, and if you happen to see it for <$150, it's a good price for what you get. The price is comparably more to others, but this is quality right here. This comes with a metal spatula.
It weaves through the entire base. Clean up is another amazing feature because it comes apart completely. Much easier to clean than all the previous griddles. It is modular and comes apart for very easy cleaning.
Air fryer. Comes with a nice long cord that actually lock in and when it's locked it also locks in the cooking surface. The lid comes in handy when cooking meats. Steamed veggie or something in a sauce.
Cons
Nylon or wood only. Now the cooking plate has bubbles under the coating - and it is still dirty. Heating is noticeably uneven over the cooking surface. Even at the very lowest temperature setting, pancakes burn before they are cooked enough to flip.
The product does not line up with the glowing reviews and experiences people have from 5-6 years ago. There's no warranty and no return. Its my fault not returning it in the beginning.
Zojirushi's electric griddle is very expensive. It's unsafe and can malfunction. It is impossible to clean.

I love this griddle for pancakes because i can make six good-sized pancakes at a time and the cooking is remarkably consistent.
The base, burner, cook surface all come apart allowing you to use soap and water and not just wipe things down.

Price
This griddle was $159 and phenomenal in every way i was looking for.
This zojirushi is worth the high price.
I was hesitant to spend the money on this fearing that i would be disappointed.
Yes this thing is expensive but i’m glad i payed for it.
Packaging/appearance
I did wanna add that it came with a metal spatula that is pictured on n this review.
Competitiveness
The cook surface is awesome and much better quality than the griddles you would buy at walmart and such.
We use this more than our very large and expensive stove top.
That's still 2x more than most of the competitors.

Wouldve been 5 stars if it had a drip tray or some kind of grease trap

I would set to a modest 350f but it could feel like the griddle was just dropped into a lava pit on venus
