Pros

Works really good, no issues with the rice being cooked. Rice turns out fluffy and great tasting. The vegetable steamer is very handy as well.

The rice turns out perfect every time. It fits nicely in the cupboard. Wish it had a holder for the rice scooper.

Easy to use & cleanup is a breeze.

Cons

Do not buy this model. Performs like a 25 $ model. Amazon accepted to change it for the first time, however, the 2nd cooker has the same issue. Very disappointed. Will return cooker, not impressed with product.

Water leaks out due to a loose wiggly lid. The water always start bubbling and splaterring with the lid on. No matter how much i adjust the porpotions or rinse the rice.

Other brand only give you a plastic one which i am not sure the quality of the plastic is safe on high heat or not.

Competitiveness

I have a higher end zojirushi at home that is obviously better and has more functions.

Have used zojirushi rice cooker at work and they last and make a good rice consistently.

So i emailed the question to zojirushi customer service.

For more than 2 people and you need the larger model.
