This is a well built unite. Although a bit pricey, this rice cooker is worth the money. Worth the price.

This cooker eliminates the need for using 2 burners. Keeps rice warm up to a day without excessive browning/drying out. The burner retains heat for a long time.

I use this appliance daily for steel cut oatmeal and it's a champ! Used the #1 timer for steel cut oats. Chicken, broccoli and orange bell pepper.

Cons

After every cooking there is a sticky white goo that accumulates where the steam exhaust is.
