Be sure to clean and dry the cooking bowl inner lid set and the steam vent set after each use but if you have washed you rice well and followed cooking instructions cleanup will be simply removing these parts and wiping them dry

I almost returned it but decided to keep it because it can keep the rice warm for a couple of days without the rice getting hard and dried out which was the main purpose for me getting a new rice cooker
