Pros

The retractable cord is a plus, less clutter. I like that the plate on the inside is detachable so i am able to wash it easily.

Our usual go to is tiger brand. I hope it lasts a lifetime!

The timer function is great for doing steel cut oatmeal for breakfast. But the stel cup oats option does the trick with a little bit of simple chemistry. Jasmine, basmati, sushi and oatmeal.

It cooks everything to perfection, even if it is left to stay warm. The slow time is because it does the rinsing and the steaming in the end for you.

Well worth the money.

Cons

I value rice cookers like any rice cooker fanatic would, but this computerized style is just not good. It only cooks maximum 2 of their cups for brown rice.

Follow the following directions: (ones in box not great) there is a plastic scoop inside the box.

Competitiveness

I have used other brands before but this one is the best rice cooker in the market, i'd highly recommend this to anyone.

I was looking for another japanese-made one and this is the best one i found.

I have used other rice cookers in the past and they do not come close to this product.
