Old one same thing no issues and still *. I hate the price of this rice cooker but it’s honestly worth it, especially if you love hello kitty!

All rice i have cooked in this rice maker tastes perfect. Rinse rice while swirling it around. Close lid and cook. It cooks your rice perfectly and keeps it warm.

It’s not complicated. Like the title works great. Makes perfect rice.

Cons

Every time i plug in the outlet, it strip my breaker. Perfectly working until last week. Looks like they've gone downhill over the years.

There is'spillage' when the rice cooks - on to the sides of the container and the water overflows. The rice was all soggy and mushy for one cup of rice.

Competitiveness

I've been told by my parents that "elephant" is the best brand when it comes to rice cooker.

I've had cheap rice cookers, they don't compare to this.

It turns out that they were referring to zojirushi brand, which has an elephant logo next to their name.

These are a bit more pricey compared to other rice cooker brands but they are far superior and last life times.
