Pros

Cleaning part is just as important as cooking because we clean it every day after we use it. Clean-up is a breeze with the non-stick container releasing any sticky, starchy, substances with just a rinse and a wipe. Condensation catcher works.

Ff to 2023, old girl is rusty but trusty. This is also very sleek and not “kidish” so it looks very great in the kitchen and blends with our decor.

These are a bit more pricey compared to other rice cooker brands but they are far superior and last life times.

Cons

The rice was all soggy and mushy for one cup of rice. The inner lid is flimsy and the overall build is not as good as the tiger brand. It seems i could not find a tiger in stainless or similar color with it being 10 cup or 500 bucks. This one insists ... Read More

Worked well for 5 months then ceased working. Every time i plug in the outlet, it strip my breaker. Unplugged then plugged, no longer warming and still no light.

Looks like they've gone downhill over the years. Is wrong w this * thing! It starts to short-out. I think this one is not authentic!

I understand the reasoning, but i never had any trouble with the original cords and they were so much nicer and easier to store!

Price

Cute rice cooker … the price is crazy for these basic features other than some hello kitty decals.

The only reason they replaced it was because the inner bowl finally lost its non-stick coating.

I have had zojirushi rice cookers since i first got married 26 years ago.

You don’t get much better than this brand.

It turns out that they were referring to zojirushi brand, which has an elephant logo next to their name.
