Pros

The only knock is that it is very expensive. It is an impressive showpiece in the kitchen and it impresses the guess. Love the consistency of the rice grain.

Press timer then start and your oatmeal will be perfectly cooked at the time you set. It cooks them all evenly as well as being able to keep the rice fresh for a long time. Keeps rice moist and delicious for close to 24 hours.

Quality

Following the simple instructions with care and using quality products resulted in the best rice i've ever eaten.

Then last week the plastic holding the pressure valve (and metal ball) crumbled.

I had the japanese version for almost 20 years before it broke.

Price

This product seems expensive at first, but it really is rice perfection.

I am also not sure how much the pressure capability for the additional cost added to cooking rice, hence 4 versus 5 stars.

I can’t believe i’m actually saying a $600 rice cooker is worth the money but i swear it is!

You know you made it to the top when you're eating rice outta a $500 rice cooker.

Please don't even consider comparing to something like the instapot!

Don't get me wrong, this rice cooker is excellent, there is nothing wrong with it but the rice i was eating in comparison with ...  Read More

I can't compare to the other zojirushi rice cookers since i have never used them, but perhaps they are a better value.
