Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

It’s real smooth stretchy mochi. Where i live it's hard to find mochi, it's expensive to buy, and the options are limited. This is for steaming themochi before pounding.

Swipe the measure cup and rinse the rice a couple times leave an inch of water above to soak. Silicon non stick is your friend.

Cons

When i microwave it, it poofs up from inner mochi and the outer m cochi stays solid rock hard and non-edible. Not made for u. It is not safe to use the appliance without a step-down transformer to convert 120-volt electric to 100-volt electricity.

As far as the step-down transformer, i bought one on amazon for $35.

This unit is buoy for a japanese household which is 100v.

Nothing in english however, be aware there will be a federal tax you must pay in the u.

Shipping

Our manual was written in japanese, but our machine was shipped from japan directly.

The machine came quickly and i’m sure it will make mochi making much easier!

Competitiveness

There is no comparison between the store-bought stuff and the chewy, fresh mochi that you can make at home.

Will be so much better than store bought!

It is also difficult to find mochi maker machines in the u.
