Pros

Cleaning the non-stick bowl is a breeze, just rinse it with a bit of water and a dish sponge. White rice is absolutely heavenly from this machine. Soft, not too soft, fluffy but not too fluffy.

Perfect every time no stirring and saved a fortune. Effortlessly perfect. It's actually fun with its little tunes.

Best porridge used almost every morning. Here's what goes into the cooker to make a generous single serving of porridge. Espresso-size cups of jumbo oats1 apple, chopped roughly1-2 tablespoons of raisins, for sweetness4 espresso- size cups of water.

Great and lovely rice cooker. Makes tasty rice when you do it correctly. This is honestly the best rice cooker i've ever used.

Easy method for plain basmati or long rice. Good when sticky but not when it's too sticky. Wife is chinese, she does a lots of rice and she things is epic.

Cons

It is awkward to use ergonomically, its inaccurate in its timing estimation. Quality of rice cooking is poor. Very very disappointing.

I buy great quality rice and zojirushi rice cooker makes it perfect!

This version is not japanese-made like the other models unfortunately, and i have heard that the quality isn't as good as a result.

But the quality of the product is amazing.

Price

Hopefully it will last me for years, cause i really love it and for that price honestly it should last ages.

Aside from the cost, i struggle to come up with any meaningful negatives.
