If you're looking for a outstanding bento container, this is it! My niece currently using it. Just had to replace the spork cover.
Every morning at 7:30 i reheat it in the microwave before i leave for work. It stays warmer for 9 hours. I'm sure his lunch is the perfect temperature by the time he eats at 12.
The two room temperature container stands pretty true but i microwave the large side bowl and the heat from the bottom main and soup containers keeps it warm. Don’t forget to fill container with hot water to preheat.

Would not recommend. What a hassle. Not worth it. Should have listened to previous reviews.
The soup leaks and any kind of tiny amount of liquid leaks. This makes taking the lid on and off really difficult. It is a lot worse for the soup bowl that you need to remove the gasket and valve packing to clean it up.
Will be looking elsewhere for a new thermos. Broken locking mechanism and missing carry bag. Could get in contact with manufacturer for replacement or fix due to shortage.
The instructions say to keep the container upright, probably for this reason, but that isn't feasible in my line of work. The only container that (hopefully) is spill proof is the soup container, but it is too small for me. Can't put wider slice food ... Read More

Great design and easy to use and cleaning was easy as well.
My wife has used this one for about two, trouble-free years every monday thru friday and still going strong.
Made shrimp fried rice,dumplings and humas with crackers.
Nothing leaked at all — no water whatsoever.
Price
It is pretty pricey but i think it is worth it in the long run.

I got this one in japan for a long time, and it is very worth to buy.

In my case i always pack a boiling hot soup, a mixed rice dish and some sides - and it definitely stays hot for 5 hours; warm for 8+.
