The heat preservation function is good and it is very practical.

It is heat sealing and from my experience is the best at retaining heat.

There are 3 containers:-a side container, which is not officially leakproof but when i tested it with water nothing came out.

It ends up turning into steam and droplets hours later.

Packaging/appearance

Box was not sealed, item arrived without the chopsticks and holder, seems like they sent me an item that was returned.

Competitiveness

Recently, i was shopping around to see if someone made a very similar product except made with glass jars rather than plastic.

I found many stainless steel ones available but examining their design, they did not come close to how well zojirushi makes theirs.
