Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

This flask has a mesh filter that pops into the neck and ensures that the tea leaves remain in it and out of your mug.

The nonstick coating makes it very easy to clean. Instead of throwing in a tea bag (though this is an option too), throw in a pinch or two or loose tea, and brew normally. If you have another cup handy, it pours rather easily.

This thermos is amazing. Works very well and holds temp a long time.

Cons

This product is one big disappointment. The lid that covers the cap is not waterproof. Lid design is *. The top is not great. The functionality of the piece is not right. It is disappointing.

It is less useful than an old-fashioned thermos. Not very efficient for a travel flask. It weights lighter, does not maintain the temperature as the old one.

To make it drinkable, you have to remove part of the seal. The edges are too sharp to drink from comfortably. It leaks when shaken or turned over. There's no steep and remove once the brewing is done.

Quality

I like the design and how long travel mug holds temperature.

Very well designed mug that keeps liquid hot/cold for long time.

Over complicatedly designed lid which makes no differencewould be better if the filter is made from metal

It kept warm all day when i traveled outside

Im lazy and its way too easy for me to hit the snooze button in the mornings so i never have time to make myself tea before leaving for work

Dont try traveling with the tea basket in the mug though or worse yet allowing it to steep in hot water overnightthe tea will be gross and oversteeped

I also noticed that a few reviewers have complained about the metal lip on the mug

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

My two cents here is that its not uncomfortable to drink straight from the lip unless the drink itself is hot enough to burn my mouth 34hot enough to burn my mouth34 being defined as 34at least hot enough to leave tender spots in my mouth that last for a day or so34

If i drink my tea within a couple hours of brewing it i usually do have to let the tea mug stand open for a while to get it cool enough to drink

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Keeps tea at the right temperature and made solid

Im also not particular about how long my teas steep either
