Coffee needs to be cooled with creamer or an ice cube to drinkable temperature or else one will burn their mouth for hours before it cools by itself

In terms of holding liquid and keeping it hot this mug is insanely good at that task i usually make a 6 cup pot of coffee in the morning just before leaving for work then pour it into this guy and leave the top completely off the zojirushi for mug in the cupholder the whole drive to work 15 minutes so its cooled off to a drinkable temperature by the time i sit down at my desk

If you seal it up on the way to work it will still be too hot when you get there

Only reason it gets 4 stars is due to not being dishwasher safe
