Pros
This is genuinely one of the best items i have ever bought. The size is nice and it's very sleek. I know that sounds ridiculous, but it's really nice.
You will be using this product all the time if you are a coffee drinker. I like to bring water to a boiling point for several of my teas and that will make the tea undrinkable for several hours if i close it right away.
The thermos keeps hot drinks hot for hours. One thing that is terrific about his mug is the way it retains the heat of the coffee. For cold beverages, it keeps them very cold for much longer than the 6 hours in the product description.
Cons
Better at keeping warm, but worse at everything else compared to contigo or other similar thermos. Lid is so flimsy it cannot survive a 2 foot fall. Probably will work as a mug, very messy to pour. Didn't keep beverages as hot as the contigo.
Zojirushi claims it carries a 5 year warranty, but the process requests photos of the bottle and they will deny any warranty claim if the bottle shows the slightest dings. On a second bottle of the same design but different color, the vacuum insulatin... Read More
The coating on the top if peeling off. The outside wall is so thin that when you pick it up it dents!

That's the big caveat here, there is a massive variation in price of these based on color.

It is very well designed in that the lid pops completely out of the way with a push of the button and when closed no liquid escapes even when holding it upside down
