Pros

The best thermal bottle i have ever had. I pour hot coffee in the morning around 8am and even by 6pm when i get home, it is still very hot. As reliable as my older zojirushi thermos bottles.

The hario cone holder has a lock unlock switch which is easy to use also. Easy to clean and completely leak proof.

Cons

After just 5 months, the lid is of no use. This is so disappointing considering their products in the past have been extremely durable. I have to retract this entire review as the lid is a piece of junk.

The latch is actually quite fragile and made with thin plastic, so it breaks rather easily. However, fact that it was dented with a protective cover on it with 1 drop means it is too fragile for real life.

Neither of the white lids were ever placed in the dishwasher. When this happens, there is no closing of the lid. The pity is that the lid failure issue must be known to zojirush - well known.

Small issue not worth losing a star: the mouth is exactly 2” wide, as is the stand of the hario cone holder.

The zojirushi sm ta60 is leak proof, keeps drinks cool and hot, and is easy to hold in the hand

(this goes for any other liquid that would be in the bottle.

Otherwise, you can brew your coffee into a warm pitcher or other container and then transfer to the zojirushi.

Competitiveness

I have other zojirushi bottles and really like them all.

They are lightweight and more compact than most major brands.

I purchased this one because zojirushi sells an optional one-piece lid.
