I own two of these mugs they are excellent right up until the lid breaks i had the same failure of the locking mechanism on the lid almost exactly at the 1 year mark on both units

Before i had the smyae48ga and loved the size and shape but poor cleaning practices and poor quality coffee decisions made me retire that mug could rid the smell of cheap coffee
