Pros

Heat up hot bean soup in the morning, pour it in, and go. Place it on the stove when you wake up and after the 3 s's when i pour in the hot soup it's nice and warm/hot.

It is super easy to clean, that stainless steel on the inside doesn't have to be scrubbed. It keeps food hot for a long time (8 hours at least so far) the best way to use it for hot food is to pour boiling water into it and let it sit for a few minute...  Read More

At 25 ounces, it packs right around 3 cups of food. Hot straight to jar. This 27 oz. This lunch container is just as good.

My son confirms every day his lunch is warm. The food is still warm-hot enough to consume. Are you a hunter or fisherman that needs a little extra nourishment in the field?

Cons

This product is average for keeping things hot for couple hours only. I was told their policy is pay shiiping per item not the weight of item/items.

Did not come with the bag and spoon as advertised.

I am pretty disappointed with my cooking skills but i’m impressed with this product.

Packaging/appearance

5 mins and mixed it up in the bowl before putting in the jar.

It's not really intended for large amounts of soup, so i finally purchased the zojirushi lunch jar.

Competitiveness

We have been using zojirushi products for years.

On this product 1 the food hardly cools enough to make a vacuum because it’s so well insulated2 if that does occur the lid comes apart in a way that you can release the vacuum

Some time he did not finish his lunch and i opened a jar to wash 5

The food jar is very tall almost the same height was my dining tablespoons and forks

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

When about to put the lid on i realize not to fill the food all the way up to the rim because the lid will push and press the food down into the jar and the food could get between the edge of the lid which will be difficult to clean

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This applies to soup that cant be pressed down like food

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The food should be no more than the inner rim of the container about an inch below the rim
