Pros

It's easy to take the zojurishih apart to learn all the little nooks and crannies in the spout assembly. Parts disassemble for easy cleaning. I also like that it disassembles effectively and cleans and dries easily.

It keeps hot water for tea hot all day long as advertised. Not the ideal temperature, but in an emergency, good enough. It keeps liquids hot for hours.

The quality of the workmanship seems very good. It is pleasing to the eye. Works as advertised.

This is the 2nd one i purchased. Worth every penny imo.

The 1-litre carafe is just about perfect for my needs. It holds more than enough coffee to satisfy me (and possibly another person too) the shape of the 34 oz carafe was smart and it's not too much for one person.

Much better than the one supplied by technivorm.

Zojirushi makes the best double wall vacuum insulated thermoses.

I don't know how many thermos/carafes i've bought over the years, the most recent being two more (different brands) bought from amazon.

Sure, it's more expensive than lots of others but you're getting the superior product in its class.
