Quality
I thought this would be a poorer cousin of a similar kathmandu backpack - but i was very pleasantly surprised at the quality.
Happy with my purchase and with the vendor.
The overall quality is great and they lasted our hawaiian hike all day.
Unfortunately there was only a choice of two colours (navel blue and coral) so one of the triplets was not that happy with the coral .
Price
Nice and compact and reasonably tough given the price.
Packaging/appearance
Havent had a chance to test them out however straight out of the package them seems fantastic.
Competitiveness
We bought a red and green zomake uktra lightweight packable bag for some light hiking.

However i had to mark it down a star as it arrived from amazon in a very crumpled state

Once opened out it was disappointingly very creased all over and certainly did not have the smooth appearance of the backpack pictured in the advertising

I would not like to iron it as it is made from a stiff waterresistant synthetic material

Big backpack yet compact enough to fit in a cycle jersey pocket however its not waterproof

However one of the tags on the end of a zip came off the first time i pulled to close it

I havent tried filling it but would probably agree with the reviews that mention the l capacity probably being a little smaller than advertised
