Im a writer so i like having a tiny notebook to whip out if i suddenly see a name or place that i want to jot down for use in a story

Id tried bigger notebooks in the past but being bigger they were just too inconvenient

Being that i carry it around all the time it needs to be able to withstand wear and tear

A standard notebook with cardboard covers wouldnt be able to do that but the metal is perfect for that

The minor cons are that 1 the pen will fall out of its holder if the notebook is held upsidedown so you have to make sure it wont get jostled into that position and 2 when i keep both the black and violet notebook in the same pocket of my purse the black cover seems to rub some kind of black residue off on the violet cover

The residue rubs away easily so its not a big deal but still something that probably shouldnt be happening

When writing the tip goes back up and you have to keep turning it to write

The pen holder also does not fit a standard pen
