Pros

No complaints. Have lasted 2 las vegas summers. Hate that i waited, they work better than i had hoped.

These are bright enough to light up the shadowed areas and keep him from waking his neighbors/roommate by stumbling over the grill, patio furniture, etc. Light is bright for what is. Not bad but was hoping for more brightness.

The motion detection keeps the path lite as you walk down it. Perfect for motion detection and lighting up dark areas without worrying about wires. Light reflects off my white vinyl fence and lights up the yard.

Good for city but not quite adequate for mountain life or homestead. He lives in a temperate climate, so i can't comment on how well they work in ice and snow.

Will charge even on cloudy days. Being solar powered is an added bonus. Works even on overcast days.

Cons

The directions are contradictory. It's not that the battery quit holding a charge. I went through 2 sets (8 pieces), some are always defective!

Made in china sewage. Absolute junk. Pretty unhappy with this product.
