I would not recommend using this bag if temperatures are going to get below the low 40s fahrenheit

The first night i used it the temperatures dipped down to almost freezing and i was very cold

So the next time i useded it where temperatures got to be in the upper 30s i used the sleeping bag with a lightweight sleeping bag liner and also wore my lightweight down jacket vest sleeveless

So since i was hiking during the summer it was an issue only the very first week in april in the smoky mountains

If ive got a few more bucks ill buy a little more expensive bag like something from enlightened equipment that will get me all the way down to 20° so ill have more flexibility
