I had wires running everywhere, starting with the data line, router is in the house spare bedroom/store room, system is in the cave/garage which is a separate building, when we bought the place we put concrete in the backyard, i ran all the electrical (240v), phone lines, gas, water and cable line before we poured the cement figured i wasnt going to be running anything else.  Read Less
