The network cables can power the cameras up so theres no need for the extra power supply or cables unless you want to install one of the ip cameras connected directly to your router and far away from the recorder which i did and worked fine

Just to make sure i wouldnt have a hard time to fix some issues in the future i sent an email to the support team to ask them how to reset the recorder if i forget my password
