First, it works on rechargeable batteries and optional solar. This allows for a lot of options in placement that you just don't get with hardwired systems. The app interface is simple and easy to use.

The camera is compatible with an outdated security system. The menu is accessed via the little button assembly wired near the camera. Although i'm a computer techie, when it comes to video surveillance equipment, i know zero.

I'm not sure if the one i received was the right model or if it was defective. Too late for refund. You can see the faint red glow of the ir leds at night, but no image.

Very disappointed in this camera. I think this is a hoax because i confidently bought it because i want better images and recording.
