Top notch dvr works perfectly as a replacement for my dvr that dies. Easy to set up, plug and play, easy setup.
Cons
can't connect over the internet or in office. Tried to reformat, reset but to no avail. I get the videos on my phone but the functionality is very limited.

My old "no name piece of junk" system broke down after three years and replaced it with the zosi.
<for the times that you want to catch what motion detect probably/unlikely missed and download the full time ontop of the motion detect.

But for the price solid little unit.
Competitiveness
I purchased this zosi digital video recorder to replace my existing defender digital video recorder and it seems to work well.
It's better than some ultra cheap dvr's but this playback feature really isn't it's strong point.

It sometimes plays back and then other times it says data isnt available or there is no recording even if we saw that it detected the motion
