Confusing terminology alarm alert etc not obvious what these settings do and how much movement is required to change the recorded video indicatormany bugs in the ipad software back button doesn’t work other buttons hidden by the ‘playback’ bar and these manifest differently depending on your ipad resolution air or standardfinding the right spot on the timeline is not intuitivei did think about returning this product as the learning curve is steep plus my wife much preferred the ‘old way’ with an app talking directly to a camera but i’ve already drilled large holes in my eaves for the oversized connectors socketed cameras would be nice then you drill one small hole for the cat5 then terminateoverall i’d say i’m disappointed getting the app to work was real hit and miss am currently talking to their tech support as the lan led is out but the access is working

Unit is possibly defectivei wish i’d been able to compare a few product before settling on this one the camera resolution is what won me over but i think i’d sacrifice that for better softwareupdate support have been responsive and have taken on board the recommendations i have sent and promise to strive to make the software more streamlined

The only problem we get is that the notifications on our cellphones stop wotking after a couple of days
