Pros
Camera head gets really hot. That's not a knock of this camera, of course, i just want to set expectations. Feels well made.
The ios version of the app works perfectly. There is a compartment at the bottom of the camera ball that has a slot for inserting a micro-sd card.
Cons
Will shut off and then try to reboot. It does this every few minutes emitting a beep that freaks my toddler out. App has to be reset constantly and it will only show you 4 of 8 cameras then it will go offline completely. It finds the camera but when y... Read More
This camera is an extreme liability to use due to the terms of service. Very vague and could apply to the us, china or any other country. Aren't they now, or becoming, the norm? This is just ridiculous.

But good news: the ios version of the app works perfectly, and tilting the device properly makes the camera image full-screen.
I haven't yet installed it outside my home so i couldn't attach any photos of the finished product.
But for now, the unit works very well, and the picture quality is pretty good.
Hopefully i can fix that but even if not, i am happy with the camera for the price point!
Competitiveness
Any camera with digital zoom will suffer this same issue - optical zoom ptz cameras cost a lot more than this one.
That's why i ordered this zosi zosi c289 wireless auto tracking ptz camera: to cover good-sized portion of the gaps.

As a result the more you zoom in the less video resolution you will have and the blurrier the view will be

I need to 3dprint a bracket since the camera will be mounted on a corner of my house and not a flat surface
