The card is quiet when idle; fan noise is as-expected.
This is a fantastic choice if you're replacing a 1080ti in a case that was already a tight fit.
Competitiveness
Other than the asus proart (which doesn't really target the gaming market), this was all i could find to fit in my case.
I normally go with asus strix, but the price difference drove me to this one.

I did not use the card support bracket because my card sits in the case vertically so there is no concern for sag

Im seeing around 80 degrees maximum but thats in a pretty cramped case

I think as coolers go this one is probably average overall the experience is similar to the 1080ti card i replaced in terms of heatfan noise etc
