Pros & Cons
Pros
Easy to install and decent gaming performance. Takes up only one slot.
The gt1030 runs very well, and is always stable between 30c to 35c. I see both cpu and gpu working though (eg. Ghz intel cpu and integrated graphics with 1920x1080 max resolution) bought this as an upgrade to use the latest photoshop in 2022.
Cons
This fan is loud. Near overheats my computer.

I first tried to install it in a very old machine (circa 2005) and the bios was not compatible.
Price
Perfect for my needs and not expensive.
This was an affordable upgrade that updated my system enough for the kids to play their games
Do not buy a gt 1030 for gaming, the price makes no sense.
If you are building a budget gaming pc do not buy this card.
Competitiveness
This card has replaced amd radeon hd 4350 (512mb) on asus p5p43td motherboard.
On top of that, and this isn't a mark against zotac but rather nvidia themselves.
I picked nvidia since they regularly update their drivers, unlike what i've experienced with amd.
I had to cut the hdd holder a bit though, but card is much better than the stock ati.

I bought this to replace an old amd radeon hd 6750 which always had problems and would intermittently crash at times either from overheating somehow or possibly from bad drivers

My old graphics card also had its last driver update back in 2016 so any possible fixes that could have come from driver updates were out of the question
