Pros
This is strong and powers through the fruit, leaving a desiccated peel, seeds and not much else. Built like a tank and squeezes citrus to dry. Great orange squeezer.
Despite my need for mods, (and possibly because of the ease of making the mods! The parts that come in contact with the orange are stainless steel and wash up easily. It makes it easy to get a glass or large bowl under the drain hole.
Very sturdy. Stays in place on the counter. Only downside is that the suction does not want to hold to my counter.
Thanks to the elegance and simplicity of this design, i was able to come up with a couple of workarounds. Was as advertised.

The two part juicer gets stuck together and pulp gets stuck in it.
Price
It's cost was about the same as a lower end electric juicer, so i see it as a very worthwhile investment.
Although its up there in price but its will last a long time.

It is quite sturdy though id say to make sure you have your hand on the base around the pole of the press while youre doing the hardest part of the press to keep it down
