Pros

Well crafted and heavy feel to them. Lightweight yet sturdy. Too gorgeous to hide in a drawer.

Easy to clean, towel dry them, and have mineral oil around for the occasional care for the wood.

Wood has natural oils that make it resistant to water and bacteria, which makes it a hygienic option for cooking. Wood has weight to it, it's thicker than most, and smoothly polished.

Cons

These are toxic and should not be used unless you sand the lacquer off. The eggs that were stuck to the spatula had been dyed brown by the wood. This is the 5th time i’ve tried soaking them to get them to stop leaching color but they don't.
