Pros

It is very sturdy. Very sturdy with nice coating. Seems well made and was packaged very nicely.

It's very classy and modern looking too! Chose this one and am very pleased with it. Love the purple but comes in many other colors.

This is a simple tool that just works. Does the job very well. Great product. Highly recommend. I highly recommend this product.

Cons

Gave up trying after 30 minutes. The spaces between the mashing section are too wide so theirs not enough surface area to mash enough of the potatoes at the same time. Too bulky, and big.

The steel core makes it virtually impossible to snap, which is almost always what happens with other kinds of potato mashers.

Using a hand mixer, i always over mashed the potatoes and wasn't happy with the results.
