Pros & Cons
Pros
If you just twist it into the fruit to get it started and then twist the fruit while holding onto the handle, the coring cylinder will never be bent or skewed. We also like the way it opens to discard the cord portion of an apple.
This little baby really is effective and saves me hours of time. Easy clean up. But this one is terrific! The product reflects pride in both design and craftsmanship and is reasonably priced as well.
Cons
It appears that either it is a defective product or amazon is again shipping out defective returns. No plastic bag or documentation.
Highlights
Quality
This apple corer is well made and works very well.
It is well made and works beautifully.
If the blade parts are welded or otherwise attached to the outside ring, they break after a handful of uses.
I've used so many flimsy ones in the past, and gotten some bad gashes because of it.
Price
But for the price, i’m singing its praises and ordering again.
Thought little expensive but liked the product.
Shipping
Got on amazon right then and ordered one.
Packaging/appearance
Not being the most gentile person took it from the box and started coring four apples.
Competitiveness
Better that oxo who typically makes ergonomic tools.
