Pros & Cons
Pros
Very impressed with sturdiness and quality. This little gadget is sturdy enough to last, easy to use and easy to clean. Worked fabulous on some granny smith apples.
The handle provides torque. Cuts through the firmer apples with ease. I like to dry them and don't want them peeled or sectioned.
Great purchase. Just like that, it's magic. I have been keeping house for 50+ years without this!
The core is easy to remove from the tool because of the flip up feature on the stem of this corer. The entire core comes out in one piece - no seeds left behind. Open the lever and use your fingers to push out the core.
Cons
I t is not sturdy enough. I have to use all the force i can muster, that i'm afraid that the device will slip and injure me. Works for a few weeks then the metal bends and becomes ineffective at coring.
It appears that either it is a defective product or amazon is again shipping out defective returns. No plastic bag or documentation.
