Cons

Water and coffee leak from the sides running out onto the burner and staining the ceramic covering on the outside. Coffee runs down the outside and burns on the element, which smells horrible.

No amount of tightening stops the leak. Leaks no matter how tightly you affix it before brewing, too. Steam comes out handle area - before able to percolate.
