The clock is very easy to set and does have an alarm.
My son can work it's functions and set the time and also loves the light up feature by pushing down on the characters head.
Runs on batteries, simple lcd (black/grey, like a solar powered calculator) screen and annoying standard "beep, beep, beep" alarm sound.
No light shows from the digital display unless you tap the head, and it only lasts for a few seconds, so it doesn't disturb sleep.
Price
Other than the novelty of this being a super sized lego figure it's extremely disappointing for a $30 alarm clock.

For the price a radio to wake me up would be cool.
For $30, i would have hoped a cover would be included.

I personally feel that for the price they couldve had some more features like theme songs or sound effects for the alarm or a radio feature but my son loves it so i cant argue

The item itself is cooll but you would think it would make a different sound for the alarm other than the typical alarm sound but it doesnt
